Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. Cookies allow the site to remember information about your visit (language, preferences, session), make browsing easier and, if you authorise them, allow us to measure how the site is used or to personalise advertising.
2. Data controller
VENEGAS 90 S.L. (the operating company of the MONEA brand), with its registered office in Spain, manages this website. Contact: legal@monea.com. More information in our Privacy Policy.
3. Types of cookies we use
We classify cookies into four categories. Only the necessary ones are activated without consent — the rest require your express authorisation.
| Category | Purpose | Typical providers | Duration | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Session, security, storage of the consent itself, booking engine during the purchase process. | First-party, Hotetec (booking engine) | Session / 12 months (consent) | Legitimate interest (Art. 22.2 LSSI) |
| Analytics | Measuring traffic, most-visited pages, traffic sources, aggregated behaviour and heatmaps / anonymised session recording to improve the site. IP addresses anonymised. | Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity | Up to 14 months | Consent |
| Marketing | Showing personalised ads, measuring advertising campaigns, remarketing. Compatible with Google Consent Mode v2. | Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel | Up to 13 months | Consent |
| Functional | Embedded maps, third-party video, external widgets (Hotetec booking engine) that enhance the experience but are not strictly necessary. | Google Maps, YouTube/Vimeo, Hotetec | Up to 24 months | Consent |
4. How to manage your consent
When you first arrive you will see a banner with three options of equal standing:
- Accept all — you activate all categories.
- Reject — only the necessary cookies are activated.
- Customise — you choose which categories you allow, one by one.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the Preferences link in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out previously on the basis of consent.
5. International transfers
Some providers (Google, Meta) may process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases, the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission apply and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
6. How to block or delete cookies
In addition to the banner, you can manage and delete cookies from your browser settings:
7. Changes to this policy
If the cookies we use change, we will update this policy and the banner will request consent again to reflect the changes.
8. Complaints
If you believe that the processing of your data does not comply with the applicable regulations, you may lodge a complaint with the AEPD (Spanish Data Protection Agency).
